Barcelona to Host Historic Match at Renovated Camp Nou over the weekend
Barcelona have announced they are set to host at the renovated but unfinished Camp Nou over the weekend. They will welcome the Bilbao team in domestic competition 30 months after they moved out so building work could begin.
“We’ve dreamed about the return. Now, it’s here. We’re back home. Back at Spotify Camp Nou.”
Not all seats will be available though over 45,000 attendees will be allowed to watch based on approved permits. Once fully finished, the Camp Nou is due to hold over 104,000 attendees, up from the previous 99,000. The club said recent additions comprise an updated entryway for the team and new dressing rooms.

Barça organized a public practice on the home pitch on 7 November. Officials stated they are seeking authorization by UEFA to play their next home Champions League game versus the German side on 9 December in the renovated venue. They have been hosting matches in the temporary ground.
