He remains focused on the fact his team play well for one half at a time. “The performance we had at times was of top quality. That is a fact. I wouldn't speak so positively if it was untrue. But that’s why, in terms of results, I mentioned it's a repeating pattern. Which is why I said that a change is coming to getting it right. Currently: the fine margins.”

“There were a lot of encouraging signs that we did, once more. However comes down to consistency. My outlook would change if I didn't believe it. This is why I am a big believer we’re going to be able to fix this.”

Opposition Reaction Stance

The victorious boss refused to contemplate a title charge even after what appeared to be a huge result. “One match at a time, so we can gradually build something here,” he said. “The belief in the group is immense.”
